| SEPTEMBER 2009 We are so proud to be a recipient of the 2009 Verizon "Check Into Literacy" funding thanks to our telephone customers in Pennsylvania. The "Check Into Literacy" program allows Verizon's residential and business telephone customers to support literacy in their home states by checking a box on their monthly phone bills. Customers who do so make a $1 tax-deductible donation to promote literacy throughout the United States. Verizon then distributes these donations to local literacy organizations. We are so thrilled that they chose us! AUGUST 2009 EQT Corporation'S 2009 Steelers Pre-Season Roundtable, was held on August 27, 2009 at the Holiday Inn – Washington, PA. EQT underwrote the event to allow 100% of the proceeds to be retained by the selected agencies – Corner Cupboard Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity, both in Greene County, along with the Greater Washington County Food Bank and Washington County Literacy Council. The Roundtable was hosted by Ellis Cannon, Pittsburgh’s #1 Sports Radio Talk Host at WPGB, 104.7FM. Other panelists included Edmund Nelson, former Steelers defensive tackle and KDKA-TV analyst for Steelers pre- season games, and Dale Lolley, sports reporter for the Observer- Reporter. For more than an hour, the panel provided the audience with a lively discussion of Steelers 2009 training camp activities, roster changes, pre-season game results, and the outlook for the upcoming season. EQT Community Relations Manager, Pamela L. Coates, commented, “EQT is very pleased that we were able to bring the excitement of the Pittsburgh Steelers to Washington and Greene counties in such a unique way. We also thank the community for embracing our efforts to help local agencies raise awareness of the essential work they do for their neighbors. And everyone involved in the event can take pride in knowing that every penny raised will remain in Greene and Washington counties to address local needs.” In addition to a tail-gate buffet dinner, attendees participated in a silent auction which featured a number of Steelers items from both Super Bowl eras. Andy Russell donated several autographed items which brought back memories of the “Steel Curtain,” while the Steelers football autographed by Ben Roethlisberger was the main attraction.
